3. Setup
3.1 Setting the TSA Combination Lock
Your Samsonite Octiv luggage comes with a pre-set combination lock. To set your personal combination:
- Open the lock. The factory default code for new luggage is 0-0-0.
- Use a ballpoint pen or other pointed object to press the small reset button located near the dials.
- With the button pressed in, set the dials to your desired 3-digit code.
- Slide the main button (with the keyhole) towards the dials to release the reset button. The code is now set.
Note: The keyhole is for TSA agents only; no key is provided or required for user operation.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Extending and Retracting the Telescopic Handle
To extend the handle, press the button on the top of the handle and pull upwards. Release the button at your desired height. To retract, press the button and push the handle downwards until it is fully nested within the luggage.
