3. Setup and Installation
Unpacking:
- Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity.
- Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If any damage is present, do not operate the oven and contact customer service.
Placement:
- Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
- Ensure adequate ventilation. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the sides, top, and rear of the oven for proper airflow.
- Do not place the oven near heat sources or in a damp area.
Electrical Connection:
- Plug the microwave into a properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.
- The voltage must correspond to the voltage specified on the microwave's rating label.
Turntable Assembly:
- Place the roller ring in the center of the oven floor.
- Place the glass tray on top of the roller ring, ensuring it sits securely.
4. Operating Instructions
The control panel provides various options for cooking and setting the microwave.

Setting the Clock:
- Press the CLOCK button once.
- Use the number pad to enter the current time (e.g., 12:30 for 12:30 PM).
- Press CLOCK again to confirm.
Basic Cooking (Time Cook):
- Press the TIME COOK button.
- Enter the desired cooking time using the number pad (e.g., 1 for 1 minute, 30 for 30 seconds).
- Press START/+30SEC to begin cooking.
Express Cook:
For quick cooking, simply press a number from 1 to 6 on the number pad to cook for that many minutes at full power.
- Press 1 for 1 minute of cooking.
- Press 2 for 2 minutes of cooking.
- ...and so on, up to 6 for 6 minutes.
Adding 30 Seconds:
During cooking, or to quickly start cooking for 30 seconds, press the START/+30SEC button. Each press adds 30 seconds to the cooking time.
Stopping/Canceling:
To stop cooking temporarily, open the door. To cancel a program or clear the display, press the STOP/CANCEL button.
5. Auto Cook Settings
The microwave includes six convenient one-touch auto cook programs:
- Popcorn: For preparing popcorn.
- Potato: For cooking potatoes.
- Pizza: For reheating pizza slices.
- Frozen Vegetable: For cooking frozen vegetables.
- Beverage: For heating beverages.
- Dinner Plate: For reheating a dinner plate.
To use an auto cook setting, simply press the corresponding button on the control panel. The microwave will automatically set the appropriate cooking time and power level.
6. Defrosting
The microwave offers two defrosting methods:
Time Defrost:
- Press the TIME DEFROST button.
- Enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad.
- Press START/+30SEC to begin defrosting.
Weight Defrost:
- Press the WEIGHT DEFROST button.
- Enter the weight of the food in ounces using the number pad.
- Press START/+30SEC to begin defrosting. The microwave will automatically calculate the defrosting time.
7. Child Safety Lock
The child safety lock prevents unintended operation of the microwave, providing added security in homes with children.
To Activate the Child Lock:
- Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. A lock indicator will appear on the display.
To Deactivate the Child Lock:
- Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will disappear from the display.
8. Cleaning and Maintenance

Turntable Cleaning:
- The glass tray and roller ring can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
