3.3 Filtration System

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including any protective films or tapes.

4.2 Filter Installation

  1. Open the filter compartment cover, usually located at the back or bottom of the unit.
  2. Remove any plastic packaging from the HEPA and active carbon filters.
  3. Insert the filters into the appliance according to the markings or instructions inside the compartment. Ensure they are seated correctly.
  4. Close the filter compartment cover securely.

4.3 Placement

Place the air purifier on a stable, level surface, ensuring there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for optimal airflow.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

4.5 App Connection (Optional)

For smart control features, download the Philips Clean Home+ app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your air purifier to your Wi-Fi network.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the control panel to turn the appliance on or off. The display will illuminate when the unit is active.

5.2 Fan Speed Settings

The air purifier offers 5 fan speed settings. Press the fan speed button to cycle through the available speeds: Speed 1, 2, 3, 4, and Turbo. The current speed will be indicated on the display.

5.4 Child Lock

To prevent accidental changes to settings, activate the child lock feature by pressing and holding the designated button (refer to your control panel for specific icon). Repeat the action to deactivate.

5.5 Air Quality Display

The digital display shows real-time PM2.5 levels and can indicate gas levels, providing immediate feedback on your indoor air quality.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.

6.1 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Filter Replacement

The air purifier will indicate when the filters need replacement. Filter lifespan varies depending on usage and air quality. Typically, filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, but in areas with high pollution, this may be more frequent.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Open the filter compartment cover.
  3. Remove the used filters and dispose of them properly.
  4. Insert new, unwrapped filters into the compartment, ensuring correct orientation.
  5. Close the filter compartment cover.
  6. Plug in the air purifier and reset the filter lifetime indicator (refer to your specific model's instructions for reset procedure, usually by pressing and holding a button).

6.3 Sensor Cleaning
