Setup and Connection

Prerequisites for Series/Parallel Connection

  • Batteries must have identical specifications (battery type, capacity, voltage, and BMS).
  • Batteries must be from the same brand (LiTime).
  • Batteries should be purchased within one month of each other.
  • Fully charge and balance each battery separately before connecting them into a system.
  • Ensure PVC wire thickness meets the requirements of the entire battery system (refer to product manual for cable sizing).
  • Always wear insulating gloves during installation.

Parallel Connection

For parallel connections, it is recommended to use copper bus bars to balance input and output currents and protect terminals from overheating. Use a torque wrench set between 12 to 14 N·m to securely tighten all bolts.

  1. Connect the negative terminals of the batteries to a negative copper bus bar.
  2. Connect the positive terminals of the batteries to a positive copper bus bar.
  3. After parallel connection, leave batteries for 12-24 hours for balancing before connecting to appliances.

Series Connection

For series connections, connect the negative terminal of one battery to the positive terminal of the next battery. Use a torque wrench set between 12 to 14 N·m to securely tighten all bolts. It is recommended to use a battery balancer for series connections to maintain voltage balance.

The total voltage of the entire battery system should not exceed 51.2V.
