5. Setup

Before first use, ensure the battery is correctly installed. The scale uses one CR2 coin battery.

Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
Open the compartment cover.
Insert the CR2 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

To turn on: Press the 'Z/T ON/OFF' button. The display will show '0' or '0.0'.
To turn off: Press and hold the 'Z/T ON/OFF' button for a few seconds. The scale also features a 2-minute auto-off function to conserve battery life.

6.2 Switching Measurement Units

The scale supports 6 measurement units: grams (g), kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), ounces (oz), milliliters (ml), and milk milliliters (milk ml).

With the scale on, press the 'UNIT' button to cycle through the available units.
The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD.

6.3 Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you can measure only the ingredients.

Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
Press the 'Z/T ON/OFF' button. The display will reset to '0', indicating the container's weight has been tared.
Add ingredients to the container. The display will show the net weight of the ingredients.
