1. Introduction

The UGEE Pad UT2 is a standalone drawing tablet designed for artists and creative professionals. Running on Android 14, it offers a seamless and intuitive drawing experience without the need for a computer. 3. Initial Setup

3.1 Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge the UGEE Pad UT2 using the provided power adapter and USB-C cable. The tablet features an 18W fast charging capability.

3.2 Activating the U-Pencil

For the first use, the U-Pencil needs to be activated. Connect the U-Pencil to the tablet via a USB cable to ensure proper functionality. The U-Pencil has a long battery life of up to 130 hours on a single charge.

3.3 Powering On and Initial Configuration

Press and hold the power button located on the side of the tablet until the UGEE logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial Android 14 setup, including Wi-Fi connection and Google account login.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the U-Pencil

The U-Pencil is designed for precise drawing and navigation. It supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for varied line thickness and opacity based on pressure applied. Ensure the U-Pencil is charged for optimal performance.

5.2 Drawing Applications

The tablet comes preloaded with drawing applications like PaintPal, Medibang Paint, and ibis Paint. You can download additional art applications from the Google Play Store.

5.3 Split-Screen Mode

To enhance multitasking, the UGEE Pad UT2 supports split-screen mode. This allows you to run two applications side-by-side, for example, a drawing app and a reference image browser.

5.4 Palm Rejection Feature

The tablet features palm rejection to prevent unintended marks from your hand resting on the screen while drawing. This feature can be toggled in the quick settings menu.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Tablet

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water.

6.2 Replacing Pen Nibs

Over time, the U-Pencil nib may wear down. Use the provided nib extractor tool to gently pull out the old nib and insert a new one. Ensure the new nib is fully seated.

6.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and do not let the battery fully discharge frequently. For optimal performance, keep the brightness at a comfortable level rather than 100% constantly.

• Forgetting Lock Screen Password: If you forget your lock screen password, you will need to perform a factory reset. Warning: This will erase all data on the tablet. • Drawing App Data Loss After Reset: A factory reset erases all data. Always export your artwork to another device or cloud storage before performing a reset.

• USB-C Port for Charging: The USB-C port supports DC 5V/3A or DC 9V/2A input for charging, but it does not support PD (Power Delivery) fast charging.
