1. Prepare the Filter Core: Soak the filter core in clean water for approximately 2 minutes before first use. This helps to remove any loose carbon dust and prepares the filter for optimal performance.
2. Assemble the Fountain: Place the water pump into the designated slot at the bottom of the fountain base. Add clean water to the reservoir, ensuring it reaches the maximum fill line. Install the pre-treated filter core into its housing, then place the drinking plate securely on top of the fountain base.

Cleaning the Fountain
