The PINDOWS JP-PDS-8020A-N2 is a digital sports watch designed for daily wear and active lifestyles. It features a clear digital display, LED backlight for visibility in low light, and 50-meter water resistance. The watch is operated by a single multi-function button located on the side of the watch case.

3. Setup: Setting Time and Date

To set the time and date on your PINDOWS digital watch, follow these steps:

  1. From the normal time display, press and hold the side button until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Press the side button repeatedly to cycle through the setting options: Hours → Minutes → Month → Day.
  3. While a digit is flashing, press the button briefly to adjust the value. For example, to change the hour, press the button until the correct hour is displayed.
  4. Once all settings are adjusted, press and hold the side button again to exit setting mode and save your changes. The display will return to normal timekeeping.

4. Operating Modes

4.1. Time Display

The watch defaults to the time display mode, showing hours, minutes, and seconds. A 'PM' indicator will appear for afternoon hours.

4.2. LED Backlight

To activate the LED backlight, briefly press the side button. The backlight will illuminate the display for a few seconds, enhancing visibility in dark conditions.

4.3. Stopwatch Function

  1. From the time display, briefly press the side button once to enter Stopwatch mode. The display will show '00:00:00'.
  2. Press the button again to start the stopwatch.
  3. Press the button once more to pause the stopwatch.
  4. To reset the stopwatch, press and hold the button while it is paused. The display will return to '00:00:00'.
  5. To exit Stopwatch mode, briefly press the button until the time display reappears.

4.4. Alarm Function

  1. From the time display, briefly press the side button twice to enter Alarm mode. The display will show the current alarm time or '00:00'.
  2. To set the alarm, press and hold the side button until the hour digits flash.
  3. Press the button briefly to adjust the hour, then press again to move to minutes. Adjust minutes similarly.
  4. Press and hold the button to exit alarm setting. The alarm is now set.
  5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, in Alarm mode, briefly press the button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear to indicate its status.
  6. To exit Alarm mode, briefly press the button until the time display reappears.

5. Water Resistance

The PINDOWS JP-PDS-8020A-N2 watch features 50-meter (5 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, hand washing, rain, and recreational swimming in shallow water. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-pressure water activities. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Battery: The watch uses a standard button cell battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified technician to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
