Setup Guide
1. Power Connection
Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the alarm clock and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will power on and the display will illuminate.
2. Initial Time Setting
- Press and hold the Time Set button (usually indicated by a clock icon) on the top panel until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Use the Up or Down arrow buttons to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the AM/PM indicator.
- Press the Time Set button again to move to the minute setting. Use the Up or Down arrow buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press the Time Set button one more time to confirm and exit the time setting mode.
3. Battery Backup (Not Included)
While the clock operates on corded electric power, it supports a battery backup (batteries not included) to retain time and alarm settings during a power outage. Insert the specified battery type into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Note: The display will not remain lit during a power outage when operating on battery backup.
Operating Instructions
1. Display Brightness and Color Adjustment
The clock features a dimmable LED display. Use the dedicated Display Dimmer slider or button (often on the back or top) to adjust the brightness level from very dim to bright. The display also offers various color options, typically cycled through by pressing a specific button (refer to the top panel buttons for a lightbulb or color icon). The nightlight below the display also has adjustable colors and brightness.

2. Nightlight Operation
The integrated nightlight provides a soft glow. Press the Nightlight button (often a lightbulb icon) to turn it on/off and cycle through different color options. Some models may also allow setting a timer for the nightlight (e.g., 30, 60, 120, 180 minutes) by repeatedly pressing the nightlight timer button.

3. Alarm Settings
- Press and hold the Alarm Set button (bell icon) until the alarm hour digits flash.
- Use the Up or Down arrow buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press Alarm Set again to set the minutes, then use Up or Down.
- Press Alarm Set a third time to select the alarm sound. You can choose from 8 pre-set sounds (e.g., bird chirping, nature sounds) or an FM radio station. Use Up or Down to cycle through options.
- Press Alarm Set to confirm. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, briefly press the Alarm Set button. The alarm icon will appear/disappear.
- When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze button to temporarily silence it for 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.
4. FM Radio Operation
- Extend the FM antenna located at the back of the unit for optimal reception.
- Press the FM Radio button (radio icon) to turn the radio on or off.
- To automatically scan and save available FM stations, press and hold the FM Radio button. The clock will scan and store up to 20 presets.
- To cycle through saved presets, briefly press the Forward or Backward arrow buttons.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.
