1. Product Overview
The Aoeeki AM-055 Retail Anti-Theft Security System is designed to protect merchandise in various retail environments. This system utilizes advanced AM-58kHz technology for accurate detection of security tags, significantly enhancing theft prevention. It features an adjustable detection range, typically covering three to five feet, making it adaptable to different store layouts.
To minimize false alarms and ensure a smooth shopping experience, the system is equipped with anti-theft label processing tools. A dual alarm system provides both audible and visual alerts (flashing lights) upon detection, promptly notifying staff of potential theft. Its wide applicability makes it effective for protecting a variety of items, including clothing, in supermarkets, pharmacies, shoe stores, and other retail outlets.

3. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Aoeeki AM-055 security system.
- Unboxing: Carefully open the product packaging. You will find two anti-theft devices (sensing devices) and a box containing accessories.
- Accessing Internal Components: Use a screwdriver to remove the fixing screws located on both sides of the cover at the base of each sensing device. Gently open the cover to expose the main board and sub board.
- Connecting Cables: Connect the provided sync cable to the main board of one sensing device and the sub board of the other sensing device. Ensure connections are secure.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the designated port on the main sensing device.
- Power Up: Plug the power cable into a suitable 110V power outlet. The system will power up, indicated by a green light on the circuit board.
- Securing Covers: Once connections are verified and the system powers on, carefully reattach the covers to both sensing devices and secure them with the fixing screws.
- Final Placement: Position the two sensing devices at the entrance/exit of your retail space, ensuring they are parallel and within the recommended detection range.

4. Operating Instructions
The Aoeeki AM-055 system operates automatically once powered on and properly installed. It continuously scans for active 58kHz security tags within its detection zone.
- Detection: When an active 58kHz security tag passes between the two sensing devices, the system will detect it.
- Alarm Activation: Upon detection, the system will trigger both an audible alarm (100dB) and visual alerts (blinking red lights on the top of the sensing devices).
- Tag Deactivation/Removal: For legitimate purchases, security tags must be either removed using the provided tag removal tool (for hard tags) or deactivated (for soft labels) at the point of sale. This prevents the alarm from triggering when customers exit the store.
- Compatible Tags: The system is compatible with various 58kHz AM tags, including small hard tags, AM lanyard tags, AM soft labels, wine bottle tags, milk powder tags, and AM jewelry labels. Note: This system is NOT compatible with 8.2MHz RF tags.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Aoeeki AM-055 security system.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the exterior of the sensing devices with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly check all cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Ensure power and sync cables are securely plugged in.
- Environmental Considerations: Keep the area around the sensing devices clear of large metal objects or strong electromagnetic interference, as these can affect detection performance.
- Firmware Updates: If available, consult the manufacturer's website or support for information on firmware updates to ensure your system has the latest features and performance enhancements.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Aoeeki AM-055 system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the device and a working power outlet.
- Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Verify that the power indicator light on the circuit board is illuminated.
- False Alarms:
- Ensure all legitimate merchandise tags are properly deactivated or removed before passing through the system.
- Check for any metallic objects or electronic devices too close to the sensing devices that might cause interference.
- Verify that the detection range is appropriately set for your environment.
- No Detection:
- Confirm that the security tags being tested are 58kHz AM compatible. The system does not detect 8.2MHz RF tags.
- Ensure the sync cable between the two sensing devices is correctly and securely connected.
- Check if the distance between the two sensing devices is within the recommended range (3-5 feet).
- Verify that the tags are active and not already deactivated.
- Alarm Not Sounding/Lights Not Blinking:
- Check the internal connections to the alarm speaker and LED lights.
- Ensure the system is powered on and detecting tags (test with an active tag).
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Aoeeki customer support for further assistance.
