2. Safety Instructions
Please read and follow these safety instructions carefully to prevent damage to the device or injury to yourself.
- Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
- Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker yourself. Contact qualified service personnel if needed.
- Keep the speaker away from open flames or heat sources.
- Ensure charging ports are dry before connecting a charger.
- Use only a 5V 2A power adapter for charging (not included).
- Do not immerse the speaker in water, despite its IPX6 rating. IPX6 protects against powerful water jets, not submersion.

4. Controls and Indicators
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and indicators on your W-KING D9-1 speaker.

- Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to check battery status.
- Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause audio.
- Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for previous track.
- Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Press and hold for next track.
- EQ Button: Press to cycle through different equalizer modes.
- Bluetooth Button: Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- TWS Button: Press to initiate True Wireless Stereo pairing.
- LED Indicators: Display battery level, charging status, and Bluetooth connection status.
5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a 5V 2A power adapter (not included). The LED indicators will show charging progress and turn solid when fully charged.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your W-KING D9-1 speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth LED.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "W-KING D9-1" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth LED will stop flashing and remain solid.
NFC Pairing (Android only): If your Android device supports NFC, simply touch your device to the NFC area on the speaker to initiate pairing.
5.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
For an enhanced stereo experience, you can pair two W-KING D9-1 speakers together.

- Ensure both D9-1 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), short press the TWS button. The TWS indicator will flash.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, both TWS indicators will remain solid.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
Note: D9 and D9-1 models cannot be paired together for TWS functionality.
6. Operating
6.1 Playing Audio
- Bluetooth Mode: Once connected via Bluetooth, play audio from your paired device. Use the Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down buttons on the speaker or your device to control playback.
- AUX-in Mode: Connect an audio source (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the speaker's AUX port using the 3.5mm audio cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (microSD) card loaded with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play music from the card. (Note: U-Disk is not supported.)
6.2 EQ Function
Press the EQ button to cycle through different equalizer presets, optimizing the sound for various music genres or listening preferences. Options may include modes for rich bass, clear mids, or crisp treble.
6.3 Power Bank Function
The W-KING D9-1 can charge your external devices. Connect your smartphone or other USB-powered device to the speaker's USB output port using your device's charging cable. The speaker will begin charging your device.

6.4 Hands-Free Calling
When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls. Incoming calls will pause music playback. Press the Play/Pause button to answer or end a call.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker at least once every three months if not used regularly. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
- Water Resistance: While IPX6 rated, ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water. Do not submerge the speaker.

8. Troubleshooting
