3.1. Charging the GT4000S Unit

Before initial use, fully charge your GT4000S. It features 100W fast-charging capability via its Type-C port.

• Connect the provided Type-C to Type-C cable to the IN/OUT PD100W port on the GT4000S.
• Connect the other end of the cable to the SC 100W Car Charger or a compatible 100W wall charger (not included).
• The LED screen will display the charging status. A full charge from 0% to 100% typically takes about 1.2 hours.
• A 5-minute charge can provide enough power for a single jump start.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

The GT4000S provides 4000A peak cranking power, suitable for 12V vehicles with up to 12.0L gasoline or 10.0L diesel engines.

1. Connect Jumper Cables: Insert the heavy-duty jumper cable connector into the 12V Jump Starter Port on the GT4000S.
2. Attach Clamps: Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Check Status: The 3.2-inch LED screen will display the battery status. Wait for the screen to show "READY" or a similar indication.
4. Start Vehicle: Enter your vehicle and attempt to start the engine. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait 60 seconds before trying again.
5. Disconnect Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black (-) clamp first, then the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery. Finally, disconnect the jumper cables from the GT4000S unit.

4.2. Using as a Portable Power Bank

The GT4000S can charge various electronic devices:

• USB-A Ports: Use the 5V/2.4A or 5V/9V/12V (QC 3.0) USB-A output ports to charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices using their respective cables.
• Type-C (PD100W) Port: Use the IN/OUT PD100W Type-C port to fast-charge compatible laptops (e.g., MacBook) or other devices that support USB Power Delivery.

4.3. Emergency LED Light

The built-in 400 lumen flashlight has three modes:

• Spotlight: Provides continuous illumination.
• SOS: Flashes the international distress signal.
• Strobe: Emits rapid flashes for signaling or warning.

To activate and cycle through the modes, press and hold the power button for a few seconds, then short press to change modes.

4.4. 15V/10A DC Output

The 15V/10A port can power various 12V or 15V DC devices, such as tire inflators, car vacuums, or portable inverters. Connect the appropriate adapter (e.g., cigarette lighter adapter) to this port and then to your device.

5.1. Storage

The GT4000S features a 24-month standby time. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the unit is charged to at least 50% before long-term storage.

While the unit has a long standby time, it is recommended to recharge it every 3-6 months to maintain optimal battery health and readiness. Always use the provided charging cables and a compatible power source.

The 3.2-inch LED screen provides clear indications of the unit's status and potential issues. The GT4000S incorporates 10 types of protection technology to prevent misoperation and sparks.

• No Power/Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the unit is sufficiently charged. Recharge if the battery level is low.
• "READY" Not Displayed: Check that the jumper cables are securely connected to both the GT4000S and the vehicle battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
• Warning Icons on Screen: Refer to the user manual for specific icon meanings. Common warnings include reversed polarity, over-charge, over-voltage, short-circuit, high/low temperature, over-current, and over-load protection. Address the indicated issue before proceeding.
• Vehicle Not Starting After Attempt: Wait 60 seconds before attempting another jump start. If the issue persists, the vehicle battery may be severely damaged or there might be another vehicle-related problem.
