2. Safety Information

3. Setup and Assembly

The MEELOD DK200DM Electric Bike is 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly.

3.1 Unboxing and Preparation

1. Carefully open the shipping box and remove the e-bike.
2. Remove all protective packaging materials from the frame and components.
3. Locate the accessory box containing the manual, tools, headlights, and pedals.

3.2 Handlebar Installation

1. Remove the steering wheel handle from its protective wrapping.
2. Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring proper alignment.
3. Tighten the bolts securely using the provided tools.

3.3 Front Wheel Installation

1. Carefully align the front wheel with the fork dropouts.
2. Insert the axle through the wheel hub and fork.
3. Secure the axle nuts firmly using the appropriate wrench.

3.4 Fender and Headlight Installation

1. Remove the screws from the front fork before installing the fender.
2. Attach the front fender to the fork using the provided screws.
3. Fix the headlight to its bracket on the front fork and connect its wires.

1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals.
2. Thread the right pedal (R) clockwise into the right crank arm.
3. Thread the left pedal (L) counter-clockwise into the left crank arm.
4. Tighten both pedals securely with a wrench.

1. Turn on the battery by pressing the button beside the battery.
2. Long press the 'M' button on the LCD display to turn on the e-bike.

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display

• Power On: Press and hold the 'M' button on the LCD display.
• Power Off: Press and hold the 'M' button again.
• LCD Display: The intelligent LCD display shows real-time speed, battery status, PAS (Pedal Assist System) level, and mileage. It is designed for clear readability even in sunlight.

4.2 Riding Modes

The DK200DM offers 4 working modes to suit different riding preferences:

• Pedal Assist Mode: Provides motor assistance as you pedal, extending your range and reducing effort. Adjust assistance levels using '+' and '-' buttons.
• Full Electric Mode (Throttle Mode): Engage the throttle for motor power without pedaling.
• Pedal Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without any motor assistance.

• The 48V 13Ah/20Ah removable lithium battery can be charged on or off the bike.
