1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Duux Zone Ceramic Space Heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Always unplug the heater when not in use or before cleaning.
  • Do not use the heater in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are stored.
  • Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front and sides of the heater.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • Do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • The heater is equipped with integrated overheat protection and tip-over protection for enhanced safety. If the heater overheats or tips over, it will automatically shut off.
  • This appliance has an IP21 rating, making it suitable for use in damp environments such as bathrooms, provided it is not directly exposed to water spray.
  • Supervise children and pets when the heater is in operation.

The heater's elegant and compact design allows it to integrate seamlessly into any room. Its lightweight construction (1.4 kg) makes it easy to move as needed.

Components:

  • Control Panel: Located on the top of the unit for easy access to settings.
  • Air Outlet: Front grille for heat emission.
  • Air Inlet: Rear grille for air intake.
  • Power Cord: For electrical connection.

3. Setup

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly.
  3. Inspect the heater for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.

Placement:

  • Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards.
  • Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
  • Avoid placing the heater in direct sunlight or near other heat sources.
  • The IP21 rating allows for safe use in damp rooms like bathrooms, but avoid direct water contact.

Power Connection:

  • Ensure the heater is switched off before plugging it into a power outlet.
  • Plug the power cord into a grounded 240V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Duux Zone heater features an intuitive touch control panel located on the top of the unit.

Power On/Off:

  • Press the Power button (circle icon) on the control panel to turn the heater on or off.
  • When turned off, the heater consumes less than 0.1W in standby mode.

Mode Selection:

The heater offers three heating modes and a fan-only mode.

  • Press the Mode button (wavy lines icon) to cycle through the available modes:
  • Low Heat: Provides gentle warmth.
  • Medium Heat: Moderate heating output.
  • High Heat (1500W): Maximum heating power for rapid warming.
  • Fan Only: Circulates air without heat, suitable for warmer days.

Thermostat Settings:

The heater includes four preset thermostat options to maintain your desired room temperature.

  • Press the Thermostat button (thermometer icon) to select one of the four preset temperature levels.
  • The indicator lights next to the MAX label will show the selected thermostat level.

Oscillation Function:

The horizontal oscillation feature helps distribute heat evenly across the room.

  • Press the Oscillation button (rotating arrows icon) to activate or deactivate the horizontal oscillation.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Duux Zone heater.

Cleaning:

  1. Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean the air inlet (rear grille) and air outlet (front grille) to remove dust and debris.

Storage:

  • When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place.
  • It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Duux Zone heater, please refer to the following common problems and solutions before contacting customer support.
