1.1 Unboxing

1.2 Initial Connection

The HI86 keyboard supports triple-mode connectivity: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C wired.

• Wired Connection: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard and your computer. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the aluminum case and keycaps. For deeper cleaning, remove the keycaps using the provided keycap puller and use compressed air to clear debris from beneath the switches.

3.2 Switch and Keycap Replacement

Thanks to the hot-swappable design, switches and keycaps can be easily replaced. Use the keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. For switches, use the switch puller to carefully extract them from the PCB. Ensure new switches are aligned correctly before pressing them firmly into place.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Connectivity Issues

• Wireless (2.4GHz/Bluetooth) not connecting: Ensure the keyboard is in the correct mode (2.4G or BT) via the toggle switch. Check if the USB receiver is securely plugged in for 2.4GHz. For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is discoverable and your device's Bluetooth is on. Try re-pairing the device.
• Wired connection not recognized: Verify the USB Type-C cable is fully inserted into both the keyboard and your device. Try a different USB port or cable.
