2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The scale is powered by two AAA batteries (included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-).

3.1 Power On/Off
Press the ON/TARE button to turn the scale on. The display will show '0.0' or '0.00' when ready. To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/TARE button for a few seconds, or it will auto-off after a period of inactivity.
3.2 Unit Conversion
Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available measurement units: oz, lb:oz, fl'oz, fl'oz(milk), g, ml, ml(milk). Select the desired unit before weighing.

3.3 Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the contents. Place an empty container on the scale, then press the ON/TARE button. The display will reset to zero. You can then add items to the container, and only their weight will be shown.

3.4 Weighing Items
- Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
- Press ON/TARE to turn on the scale.
- Select your desired unit using the UNIT button.
- If using a container, perform the Tare function as described above.

- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.
