2. Setup

2.1 Powering On

Connect the AC adapters to the parent unit and each camera. Plug the adapters into a power outlet. The devices are designed for plug-and-play operation, meaning they should automatically connect once powered on.

2.2 Camera Placement

Position the cameras in locations that provide a clear view of your child. Ensure the cameras are placed at a safe distance from the child's reach (at least 3 feet / 1 meter away from the crib). The cameras can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling using the provided mounting kits.

For optimal signal, avoid placing the cameras or parent unit near large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference. The system operates on 2.4GHz FHSS technology, providing a secure, non-WiFi connection with a range of up to 1000 feet in ideal conditions. For indoor use, the signal can typically pass through up to two walls effectively.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Parent Unit Overview

The parent unit features a 6-inch IPS screen for clear viewing. Controls are intuitively placed for easy access to various functions.

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 1 second.
• Volume Adjustment: Use the up/down keys on the parent unit.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the left/right keys to adjust screen brightness.
• Zoom: Long press the zoom button to activate 2x digital zoom.
• Two-Way Talk: Press and hold the microphone button to speak through the camera. Release to hear your child.

• Split Screen Mode: View feeds from both cameras simultaneously on the 6-inch IPS screen. The monitor will prioritize audio from one camera but will alert you if significant sound is detected from the other.

• ECO Mode: This mode conserves battery by turning off the screen when no sound is detected. The screen will activate automatically upon detecting sound. Sensitivity can be adjusted.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Information

To maximize battery life, charge the unit fully before first use and whenever the low battery indicator appears. Avoid extreme temperatures and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

4.2 Cleaning

Wipe the monitor and cameras with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure devices are unplugged before cleaning.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Signal/Poor Connection:
  • Ensure both the parent unit and cameras are powered on and within range.
  • Move the parent unit closer to the cameras.
  • Avoid placing devices near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronics that may cause interference.
  • The maximum effective range is 1000 feet outdoors; indoors, signal strength may be reduced by walls (ideally no more than two walls between devices).

• No Sound/Poor Audio:
  • Increase the volume on the parent unit.
  • Ensure the camera's microphone is not obstructed.
  • If in ECO mode, sound detection sensitivity might need adjustment.
• Loud Beeping in Split-Screen Mode:
  • When using split-screen, the monitor will alert you to sounds from the secondary camera with a distinct beep. This feature cannot be disabled while in split-screen mode. To avoid the beep, switch to single-camera view or adjust the ECO mode sensitivity.
• Camera Not Responding to PTZ Controls:
  • Ensure the camera is properly powered and connected.
  • Check for any physical obstructions preventing movement.
