Key Components:

Setup

Step 1: Connecting the Handset

Connect the coiled cord from the handset to the handset port on the left side of the phone base.

Step 2: Network Connection

Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the back of the phone. Connect the other end to an active network port on your router or network switch. If you intend to connect a computer through the phone, use another Ethernet cable to connect your computer to the PC port on the phone.

Step 3: Power Connection

Connect the AC power adapter to the power port on the back of the phone. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The phone will automatically power on and begin its boot sequence. Please wait for the phone to fully initialize.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

1. Pick up the handset or press the Speaker button.
2. Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
3. Press the Dial/Send button or wait a few seconds for the call to connect automatically.

Answering a Call

When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the Speaker button to answer the incoming call.

Using Multiple Lines

The Fanvil V62G supports up to 12 lines. To switch between active calls or initiate a new call on a different line, press the corresponding line key located next to the display.

Phonebook

The phonebook can store up to 1000 entries. Access the phonebook via the dedicated button or menu option to manage and dial contacts efficiently.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone's surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Environment: Keep the phone in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat sources, and areas with high dust accumulation.
• Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely connected and are not under strain or tangled, which could lead to damage.

Troubleshooting

No Power

• Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged into both the phone and a functional power outlet.
• Verify the power outlet is working by plugging in another device.

No Dial Tone / Cannot Make Calls

• Check the Ethernet cable connection to the LAN port on the phone and ensure it is securely connected to a live network port.
• Verify your network connection and SIP registration status on the phone's display. If the issue persists, contact your VoIP service provider or network administrator.

Display Issues

• If the display is blank or unreadable, try restarting the phone by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter.
• Adjust display brightness through the phone's menu settings if available.
