2. Getting Started: Setup

2.1 Package Contents

  • Charging Cradle

2.2 Inserting the SIM Card and Battery

  1. Remove the back cover: Gently pry open the back cover of the phone.
  2. Insert SIM card: Locate the SIM card slot. Insert your 4G compatible SIM card with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place.
  3. Insert battery: Place the battery into its compartment, aligning the contacts.
  4. Replace back cover: Securely attach the back cover until it clicks.

2.3 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Doro Leva L10. You can use either the charging cradle or the USB Type-C cable directly.

  • Using the Charging Cradle: Connect the USB Type-C cable to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall socket. Place the phone into the charging cradle, ensuring it sits correctly. The charging indicator on the phone will illuminate.
  • Direct USB-C Charging: Connect the USB Type-C cable directly to the phone's charging port and the power adapter, then plug into a wall socket.

2.4 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the red End Call/Power button () until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the red End Call/Power button () and follow the on-screen prompts.

3. Operating the Phone

3.1 Keypad Navigation

The Doro Leva L10 features a clear, well-spaced keypad for easy dialing and text input.

  • Numeric Keys (0-9, *, #): Used for dialing numbers and entering text.
  • Call Button (Green): To make a call or answer an incoming call.
  • End Call/Power Button (Red): To end a call, reject an incoming call, or power the phone on/off.

  • To End a Call: Press the red End Call button.

  • To Send an SMS: Navigate to the 'Messages' menu, select 'New Message', enter the recipient's number or select from contacts, type your message using the keypad, and send.
  • To Read an SMS: New messages will typically appear as a notification. Navigate to the 'Messages' inbox to read them.

4.1 Using the Camera

  1. Access Camera: Navigate to the 'Camera' option in the main menu.
