4. Installation Guide
Warning: Professional operation is recommended. Do not attempt installation if you are unfamiliar with car electronics. Incorrect installation may damage the unit or your vehicle.
4.1 Preparation
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected before starting.
- Gather all necessary tools, including pry tools, screwdrivers, and a 7mm socket.
4.2 Removing the Original Radio and Trim
- Remove Dashboard Screws: Carefully remove screws securing the dashboard trim.

- Pry Off Plastic Cover: Use a pry tool to carefully remove the plastic cover surrounding the factory screen. Disconnect any plugs attached to the back of the cover.

- Remove Original Screen/CD Unit: Unscrew the original CD unit and screen. Carefully pull out the unit and unplug all cables connected to its rear.

4.3 Connecting the New Unit
- Connect Wiring Harness: Connect the provided wiring harness to the new head unit and the vehicle's existing wiring. Ensure all connections are secure.

- Install New Head Unit: Carefully place the new 12.1-inch head unit into the dashboard opening. Secure it with the appropriate screws.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Power On and Testing
- Power on your car. The new unit should power on, and the large screen should light up.
- Check if the GPS can receive a signal. Place the GPS antenna in the glove box instead of behind the dashboard for better signal reception. Use the new supplied GPS antenna; do not use the GPS antenna from the original stereo.
- Test volume control (+/-) and song switching using the steering wheel controls.
- Test air conditioning functions. The new unit should display a reverse image automatically when reversing the car.
- Test if the radio can receive channels.
- Test if the sound is normal when playing music. The new unit supports SONY amplifiers. If your car has another brand amplifier and you get no sound after installation, please refer to troubleshooting section 2 or contact support.
