Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Variable Speed
The drill is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed. Release the trigger to turn off the drill.
Speed Selection
The drill has two mechanical speed settings, selected via the speed selector switch located on top of the drill:
- Speed 1 (Low Speed, 0-1800 RPM): For high torque applications like screwdriving or drilling large holes.
- Speed 2 (High Speed, 0-2600 RPM): For faster drilling in smaller diameters.

Image: The drill demonstrating the two-speed gearbox, allowing selection between 0-1800 RPM for high torque and 0-2600 RPM for high speed applications.
Torque Adjustment and Mode Selection
The torque adjustment ring allows you to select the appropriate torque for screwdriving or switch to drilling or hammer drilling modes.
- Screwdriving (1-20): Rotate the ring to select a torque setting from 1 to 20. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials. The clutch will disengage once the set torque is reached, preventing overtightening or damage.
- Drill Mode (Drill Bit Icon): For general drilling without torque limitation.
- Hammer Drill Mode (Hammer Icon): For drilling into masonry or concrete, combining rotation with a hammering action.

Image: Close-up of the drill's collar, illustrating the 1-20 torque settings and the three functional modes: drilling, hammer drilling, and screwdriving.
Forward/Reverse Rotation
The forward/reverse switch, located above the trigger, controls the direction of rotation:
- Forward: Push the switch to the left for clockwise rotation (for drilling and tightening screws).
- Reverse: Push the switch to the right for counter-clockwise rotation (for removing screws or backing out bits).
- Lock-off: Center the switch to lock the trigger, preventing accidental startup.
Using the LED Work Light
The integrated LED light automatically illuminates when the trigger is pressed, providing visibility in dimly lit work areas.
General Drilling and Screwing Tips
- Always secure your workpiece before drilling or screwing.
- Start drilling at a low speed and gradually increase as needed.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the drill.
- For screwdriving, select a torque setting that is appropriate for the screw size and material to avoid stripping the screw head or damaging the workpiece.
