4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

1. Connect the provided Type C charging cable to the speaker's Type C port (located under the rubber flap on the back).
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
3. Charge the speaker fully before first use. A full charge takes approximately 6 hours.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press and hold the Power button (⏻) on the top panel to turn on the speaker. The LED lights will illuminate, and you will hear an audible prompt indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "ANCOON-S01-Y" from the list.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.

4.3 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (Optional)

To achieve a stereo sound experience, you can pair two ANCOON ANCOON-S01-Y speakers together:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the 'M' button twice. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. A confirmation tone will sound once paired.
4. Connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.2.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

• Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to turn on/off. Short press to play/pause music.
• Bass Button: Press to toggle Deep Bass mode on/off.
• Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume.
• Previous Track (⏴⏴): Long press to go to the previous track.
• Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume.
• Next Track (⏵⏵): Long press to go to the next track.
• Mode Button (M): Short press to cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, AUX, USB). Double press for TWS pairing.
• Light Mode Button (☀/⏚): Press to cycle through 6 different LED light modes or turn lights off.

5.2 LED Light Modes

The speaker features six dynamic LED light modes that can be changed by pressing the Light Mode button:

• Flame
• Breathing
• Flash
• Wander
• Meteors
• Rainbow

5.3 Using as a Power Bank

To charge an external device using the speaker's built-in power bank function:

1. Open the rubber flap on the back of the speaker to access the ports.
2. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the speaker.
3. Your device will begin charging.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

6.2 Water Resistance

The speaker is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can resist high-pressure, multi-directional water jets. It is suitable for use in rainy conditions or near pools, but should not be submerged in water.

7. Troubleshooting

• Speaker not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source using the Type C cable.
• Cannot pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (LEDs flashing). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (up to 100 feet). Forget previous pairings on your device and try again.
• No sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct input mode is selected (Bluetooth, AUX, USB).
• TWS pairing issues: Ensure both speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
• Sound distortion: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your device. Ensure the audio source is of good quality.
