2. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install your components into the darkFlash DY470 PC case. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning any installation.
2.1 Case Preparation
The DY470 case features a screwless disassembly design for easy access to internal compartments. Gently remove the side and top panels to prepare for component installation.

2.2 Motherboard Installation
The DY470 supports ATX back-mounted motherboards. Install your motherboard onto the designated standoffs in the main chamber. Ensure all necessary cables are routed through the back panel for a clean build.

2.3 GPU Installation
The case accommodates large graphics cards. You can install your GPU horizontally or vertically. For vertical mounting, a riser cable (not included) is required.

2.4 Fan and Radiator Installation
The DY470 offers flexible cooling options. Install fans and radiators according to your cooling needs. The case supports:
- Top: 3x120mm / 2x140mm fans; supports 120/240/280/360 liquid coolers.
- Side: 3x120mm / 2x140mm fans; supports 120/240/280/360 liquid coolers.
- Rear: 1x120mm fan; supports 120 liquid coolers.
- Bottom: 3x120mm / 2x140mm fans.

2.5 Storage Drive Installation
Install your storage drives in the designated bays:
- 2 x 3.5" HDD bays
- 1 x 2.5" SSD bay

2.6 Power Supply Installation
Install your power supply unit (PSU) in the bottom-mounted, dual-chamber compartment. Ensure the PSU fan faces outwards for optimal cooling.
2.7 Cable Management
Utilize the integrated velcro straps and the wire-covering back panel to organize cables for a clean build and improved airflow.

3. Operation
3.1 Front I/O Panel
The front I/O panel provides convenient access to essential ports and controls:
- Power Button: To turn the system on/off.
- Reset Button: To restart the system.
- USB 3.0 Ports (x2): For high-speed data transfer (up to 300MB/s).
- Type-C Port: For high-speed data transfer (up to 1280MB/s).

3.2 ARGB Fan Control
The included PWM ARGB fans can be controlled via compatible motherboard software for synchronized lighting effects. Please note that an ARGB Hub Controller is not included with the case and may be required for full functionality depending on your motherboard.

3.3 Optimal Airflow

4. Maintenance
4.1 Dust Filter Cleaning
The case includes a pull-out dust filter at the bottom to prevent dust accumulation. Regularly clean this filter to maintain optimal airflow and component longevity.
- Gently pull out the dust filter from the bottom of the case.
- Clean the filter using compressed air or a soft brush.
- Reinsert the clean filter into its slot.

4.2 General Cleaning
For general cleaning of the case exterior and interior:
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down exterior surfaces.
- For glass panels, use a glass cleaner applied to a cloth (not directly to the glass) to avoid streaks.
- Use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Power Issues
- No Power: Ensure all power cables (PSU to wall, PSU to components, front panel connectors to motherboard) are securely connected. Check the power switch on the PSU.

5.2 Cooling Issues
- High Temperatures: Confirm fans are installed in the correct orientation (intake/exhaust). Ensure dust filters are clean. Verify CPU cooler and GPU cooler are properly seated.
