5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Insert the battery pack into the charger. Ensure it is seated correctly.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. The charger indicator light will typically change color or turn off when charging is complete.

5.2 Installing/Replacing the Cutting Disc

Always ensure the battery is removed from the grinder before changing discs.

1. Press and hold the spindle lock button located on the grinder head.
2. Using the provided screwdriver or wrench, loosen and remove the saw blade fastening bolt.
3. Carefully remove the old cutting disc (if applicable).
4. Place the new cutting disc onto the spindle, ensuring it is centered and flush.
5. Re-attach and tighten the saw blade fastening bolt while holding the spindle lock button. Ensure the disc is securely fastened but do not overtighten.

5.3 Attaching the Battery

1. Align the battery pack with the base of the grinder handle.
2. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
3. To remove, press the battery release button (if present) and slide the battery out.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely attached.
2. To start the grinder, press the side toggle switch forward until it locks into the "ON" position.
3. To stop the grinder, press the side toggle switch backward to the "OFF" position.

6.2 General Operation Tips

• Allow the grinder to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
• Apply light, even pressure. Do not force the tool, as this can lead to overheating and reduced performance.
• For cutting, make shallow passes rather than attempting to cut through thick material in one go.
• For grinding and polishing, move the tool consistently across the surface to achieve an even finish.
