Setup and Installation

1. Motherboard Overview

2. CPU Installation (AMD AM5 Socket)

Carefully align your AMD Ryzen AM5 processor with the socket on the motherboard. Ensure the triangular markers on the CPU and socket match. Gently lower the CPU into the socket without forcing it. Once seated, close the retention arm to secure the CPU.

3. Memory (DDR5) Installation

Locate the four DDR5 DIMM slots. Open the retention clips on both ends of the slot. Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot. Insert the module firmly until the clips snap into place, securing the memory.

4. M.2 SSD Installation (EZ-Latch)

The motherboard features M.2 EZ-Latch for tool-less installation. Locate the M.2 slots. Remove the M.2 thermal guard if present. Insert your M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle, then gently push down the EZ-Latch mechanism to secure the SSD without screws.

5. PCIe Card Installation (EZ-Latch)

The PCIe EZ-Latch allows for easy removal of graphics cards and other PCIe devices. Open the PCIe slot latch. Insert your PCIe card firmly into the slot until it clicks into place. To remove, simply press the EZ-Latch button.

6. Connecting Power and Peripherals

Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin CPU power connector from your power supply to the motherboard. Connect front panel headers (USB, audio, power/reset buttons, LEDs) according to the motherboard manual. Install the WiFi antenna to the rear I/O panel for wireless connectivity.
