3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the alarm clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 x AA/LR6 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Initial Time Setting

1. Press and hold the 'Time Set' button (usually located on the back or bottom) until the hour display flashes.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons (located on the front or top) to adjust the hour. Pay attention to AM/PM indicators if applicable.
3. Press the 'Time Set' button again to confirm the hour and move to minute adjustment.
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the 'Time Set' button one last time to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting the Alarm

1. Press and hold the 'Alarm Set' button (usually located on the back or bottom) until the alarm hour display flashes.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the 'Alarm Set' button again to confirm the alarm hour and move to minute adjustment.
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
5. Press the 'Alarm Set' button one last time to confirm the alarm time. The alarm icon should appear on the LCD screen, indicating the alarm is active.

4.2 Adjusting Alarm Sounds and Volume

1. While in alarm setting mode (after setting the alarm time), press the 'Alarm Set' button again to cycle through the 6 available alarm sounds/ringtones. Stop when you hear your preferred sound.
2. To adjust the alarm volume, press the 'Alarm Set' button once more. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the volume.
3. Press the 'Alarm Set' button to exit the alarm sound/volume setting.

4.3 Using the Nightlight

• To activate the Groot nightlight, simply press down on the Groot figure.
• Pressing Groot again will turn the nightlight off.

4.4 Snooze Function

• When the alarm sounds, press down on the Groot figure or the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes.

4.5 LCD Screen Control

• The LCD screen has an option to be continuously lit or to turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery and reduce light disturbance during sleep. Refer to the specific button on your device (often labeled 'Light' or a sun icon) to toggle this feature.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Battery Replacement: Replace all 3 AA/LR6 batteries simultaneously when the low battery indicator appears or when the clock's functions become erratic. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
