8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your QIAO EV Charging Station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Charging not starting | Vehicle not properly connected; charging station not powered; vehicle charging settings; error condition. | Ensure connector is fully inserted. Check circuit breaker. Verify vehicle's charging schedule. Check LED indicator for error (red light). Restart charging station by cycling power. |
| Red LED indicator light | Internal fault; overcurrent; overvoltage; ground fault; overheating. | Disconnect the charger from the vehicle. Turn off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error persists, contact customer support. |
| Slow charging speed | Current setting in app is low; vehicle's maximum charging rate; grid voltage fluctuations. | Check and adjust the current setting in the QIAO app. Confirm your vehicle's maximum AC charging rate. Consult an electrician if voltage issues are suspected. |
| Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity issues | Weak signal; incorrect password; router issues; app not updated. | Ensure the charging station is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Re-enter Wi-Fi password in the app. Restart your router. Update the QIAO app to the latest version. |
