3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your Greenworks Blower/Vacuum:

4. Setup
4.1. Assembly
- Attaching the Blower Tube: Align the blower tube with the outlet on the main unit and twist until it locks securely into place.
- Attaching the Vacuum Tube and Collection Bag: For vacuum mode, remove the blower tube. Attach the vacuum tube to the main intake opening. Secure the collection bag to the discharge port. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent debris leakage.
4.2. Battery Charging and Installation
The Greenworks 48V Blower/Vacuum operates using two 24V 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries. Always ensure batteries are fully charged before use.
- Charging the Batteries: Connect the dual port charger to a standard power outlet. Insert the 4.0Ah batteries into the charging slots. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 120 minutes for both batteries.
- Installing the Batteries: Once charged, slide both batteries into the battery compartments on the tool until they click into place. Ensure they are firmly seated.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Starting and Stopping the Tool
To start the tool, press and hold the trigger. To stop, release the trigger. The tool features an easy trigger start, eliminating the need for cranking or priming.

5.2. Blower Mode
With the blower tube attached and batteries installed, press the trigger to activate the blower. Use the variable speed control to adjust airflow. For maximum power, engage the turbo button. Direct the airflow to move leaves and debris away from desired areas.

5.3. Vacuum Mode (Tool-less Conversion)
To switch to vacuum mode, ensure the tool is off and batteries are removed. Detach the blower tube and attach the vacuum tube and collection bag as described in Section 4.1. Reinstall the batteries. Press the trigger to activate the vacuum. Guide the vacuum tube over leaves and debris to collect them into the bag. The tool mulches debris as it vacuums.

5.4. Variable Speed and Cruise Control
The tool is equipped with a trigger-activated variable speed control, allowing you to adjust the airflow or suction power. For continuous operation at a set speed, engage the cruise control feature. Refer to the product overview diagram for the location of these controls.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.
- Cleaning: After each use, ensure the tool is off and batteries are removed. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove any debris from the air intake and exhaust vents. For vacuum mode, empty the collection bag and clean any accumulated debris from the vacuum tube and impeller area.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Charge batteries fully before long-term storage.
- Storage: Store the blower/vacuum in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
