3.2 Control Buttons and Ports

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
  4. Disconnect the charging cable once fully charged to preserve battery life.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights activate.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until the LED lights turn off and you hear an audible prompt.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, short press the 'M' button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "YEAHBOX A8" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue LED will remain solid.

4.4 Wired Connection (AUX)

  1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm audio cable to the speaker's AUX-in port.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, or you may need to press the 'M' button to select AUX mode.

4.5 TF Card / U Disk Playback

  1. Insert a TF (MicroSD) card or U Disk (USB flash drive) containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot/port on the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing music, or you may need to press the 'M' button to select the appropriate mode.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Audio Controls

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
  • Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.

5.2 EQ Sound Modes

The YEAHBOX A8 offers three distinct equalization (EQ) modes to customize your listening experience:

  • Pop Mode: Balanced sound profile suitable for most music genres.
  • Bass Boost Mode: Enhances low frequencies for a deeper bass response.
  • 3D Mode: Provides an immersive, spatial audio experience.

To cycle through these modes, short press the 'EQ' button.

5.3 Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

You can connect two YEAHBOX A8 speakers for a combined 80W output and an immersive stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once connected.
  4. Once TWS is successful, connect your device via Bluetooth to the primary speaker as described in Section 4.3.

5.4 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker's built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls.

  • Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
  • End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.

5.5 LED Lights Control
