4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Pro-Ject T1 EVO BT Turntable:
- Placement: Choose a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong vibrations.
- Platter Installation: Carefully place the heavy, low-resonance glass platter onto the spindle. Ensure it sits flush.
- Belt Installation: Gently stretch the drive belt around the sub-platter and the motor pulley. Rotate the platter a few times manually to ensure the belt is correctly seated.
- Cartridge & Tonearm: The Ortofon OM10 cartridge is pre-adjusted. Ensure the tonearm is unlocked from its rest.

5. Operating Your Turntable
- Power On: Turn on the turntable using the power switch.
- Select Speed: Use the electronic speed change control to select 33 or 45 RPM, matching your record's speed.
- Place Record: Carefully place your vinyl record on the platter.
- Start Playback: Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and position it over the desired track. Lower the cueing lever to drop the stylus onto the record. The turntable is fully automatic and can also be started with a dedicated start button, which will automatically move the tonearm and lower the stylus.
- Stop Playback: At the end of the record, the tonearm will automatically return to its rest. You can also manually lift the tonearm or press the stop button for automatic return.
6. Bluetooth Connectivity
The Pro-Ject T1 EVO BT features Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD for high-quality wireless audio streaming.
