  • CNC-machined plinth, free of plastic, designed to eliminate resonant hollow spaces.
  • Elegant dust cover with adjustable hinges.
  • Low-capacitance Connect it Phono E RCA cable included.

Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the turntable unit, glass platter, felt mat, dust cover with adjustable hinges, Ortofon OM 10 moving magnet cartridge (pre-aligned), low-capacitance Connect it Phono E RCA cable, and power supply. Retain all packaging for future transport or service.
  2. Platter and Belt Installation: Place the glass platter onto the central spindle. Carefully attach the drive belt around the motor pulley and the sub-platter. Ensure the belt is seated correctly.
  3. Tonearm and Cartridge: The Ortofon OM 10 cartridge is pre-aligned. Remove any protective stylus guard. Ensure the tonearm is free to move.
  4. Dust Cover: Attach the dust cover to the hinges on the turntable base. The hinges allow for adjustable opening and closing.
  5. Connections: Connect the provided RCA cable from the turntable's output to your amplifier or active speakers. Connect the power supply to the turntable and then to a power outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Locate the power switch, typically on the side or underside of the plinth. Flip the switch to turn the turntable on or off.
  2. Playing a Record: Place a record on the felt mat on the platter. Unlock the tonearm from its rest. Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and position the stylus over the desired groove of the record. Lower the cueing lever to allow the stylus to descend onto the record.
  3. Speed Selection: The turntable operates at 33 RPM. For 45 RPM records, manual adjustment of the drive belt on the motor pulley may be required. Refer to the manufacturer's detailed instructions for specific speed change procedures.
  4. Built-in Phono Pre-amplifier: The T1 Evo Phono model features a built-in phono pre-amplifier, allowing direct connection to line-level inputs on your amplifier or active speakers without the need for an external phono stage.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the dust cover and plinth with a soft, dry, anti-static cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Use a dedicated stylus brush to gently clean the stylus from back to front.
  • Stylus Replacement: The stylus on the Ortofon OM 10 cartridge has a limited lifespan. Consult the Ortofon documentation or a qualified technician for replacement instructions when necessary.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your turntable, consider the following:

  • No Sound: Check all cable connections (RCA, power). Ensure your amplifier or active speakers are set to the correct input and volume. Verify the turntable's power is on.
  • Skipping: Ensure the turntable is placed on a stable, level surface. Check the condition of your records for dust or scratches. Verify the stylus is clean and properly seated.
  • Humming Noise: Ensure the ground wire (if applicable and connected) is securely attached. Check for interference from other electronic devices.
  • Incorrect Speed: Confirm the drive belt is correctly positioned on the motor pulley for the desired RPM.
