2. Product Features

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up and install your motion sensor lights:
- Battery Installation:
- Gently slide open the back cover of each light unit.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the back cover securely.
- Choose Installation Location:
- Select a clean, dry, and smooth surface for mounting. Common locations include stair risers, hallway walls, inside closets, or under cabinets.
- Ensure the chosen location allows for optimal motion detection within the desired area.
- Mounting the Light:
- Peel off the protective film from one side of a double-sided adhesive pad.
- Firmly attach the adhesive pad to the back of the light unit.
- Peel off the protective film from the other side of the adhesive pad.
- Press the light firmly onto your chosen surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

5. Operating Instructions
The Guankai Motion Sensor Stair Light operates automatically based on ambient light and motion detection.
- Automatic Activation: The light will only activate when the ambient environment is sufficiently dark and motion is detected within its sensing range.
- Motion Detection: Once motion is detected, the light will turn on.
- Automatic Deactivation: The light will automatically turn off approximately 20 seconds after motion is no longer detected.
- No Manual Switch: This model features an always-active motion sensor for automatic operation. There is no physical switch to manually turn the motion sensor on or off, or to keep the light continuously on.

6. Battery Information
- Each light unit requires 3 AAA batteries.
- For optimal performance and battery life, use high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Replace all batteries simultaneously when the light begins to dim or fails to activate. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the light with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Sensor Area: Keep the motion sensor lens clean and unobstructed to ensure proper functionality.
- Adhesive: If the adhesive bond weakens over time, replace the double-sided adhesive pad with a new, strong adhesive suitable for your surface.
