3. General Care

  • Avoid placing the scale near strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., mobile phones) as this may affect accuracy.
  • Do not overload the scale beyond its maximum capacity of 200g, as this can damage the sensor. The display will show "FULL" or "O-Ld" if overloaded.
  • Handle the scale gently; avoid dropping or subjecting it to sudden shocks.
  • Do not disassemble the scale.

Troubleshooting

  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure the scale is on a stable, flat, and windless surface.
    • Check for any obstructions under the weighing platform.
    • Perform calibration as described in the Operating Instructions.
    • Avoid using the scale in environments with significant temperature fluctuations (optimal 0-30°C).
  • Scale Does Not Turn On:
    • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
    • If using USB power, ensure the cable is securely connected and the power source is active.
  • "FULL" or "O-Ld" Display:
    • This indicates the scale is overloaded. Remove the item immediately to prevent damage. The maximum capacity is 200g.
  • Battery Symbol Flashing:
    • This indicates low battery power. Replace the AAA batteries or connect the scale via USB for power.
