1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• This heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater includes an overheat protection device that automatically shuts off the heater if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the heater, wait 10 minutes, and plug it back in.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the fireplace stove from its packaging.
2. Remove all protective packaging and plastic films.
3. Verify that all components listed in the "Package Contents" section are present and undamaged.

4.2 Assembly (Attaching Legs)

The Electactic S180 Electric Fireplace Stove requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the legs.

1. Gently lay the fireplace stove on its side on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratches.
2. Align each leg with the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the stove.
3. Secure each leg using the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened firmly but do not overtighten.
4. Carefully stand the fireplace stove upright on a level, stable surface.

4.3 Placement

• Place the fireplace stove on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. Maintain at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains.
• Do not place the heater in an area where it may be exposed to water or excessive moisture.
• This appliance is designed for indoor use only.

4.4 Power Connection

• Ensure the power cord is not damaged.
• Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

The Electactic S180 can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

5.1 Power ON/OFF

• Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit ON or OFF.

5.2 Heat Settings

• Press the Heat button to cycle through heat settings: 500W, 1500W, or OFF.
• Use the Temperature buttons (+ / -) on the remote to adjust the desired temperature from 50°F to 99°F. The unit will automatically maintain the set temperature.

5.3 Flame Effects

The Electactic S180 offers customizable flame effects to enhance ambiance.

• Flame Color: Press the Flame Color button to cycle through 4 different flame colors (red, yellow, blue, and a blue-yellow mix).
• Flame Brightness: Press the Dimmer button to adjust the flame brightness through 5 levels.
• Flame Speed: Press the Flame Speed button to adjust the flicker speed of the flames through 5 levels.

5.4 Timer Function

• Press the Timer button to set the automatic shut-off timer. The timer can be set for up to 8 hours. Each press will increase the timer duration.

5.5 Remote Control

The remote control allows convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries (not specified if included, assume user provides). Point the remote directly at the fireplace stove's receiver.
