Setup

1. Battery Installation

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert three (3) AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Time

Locate the 'TIME' setting knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the current time.

3. Setting the Alarm

Locate the 'ALARM' setting knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
Rotate the knob to set the alarm hand to your desired wake-up time.
Ensure the alarm ON/OFF switch (located above the alarm knob) is in the 'ON' position for the alarm to activate.

Operation

1. Alarm Function

The clock offers selectable alarm sounds: soothing bird song, various melodies (Dance of the Hours, Morning from Peer Gynt, Waltz of the Flowers), or a traditional beep sound.
To select the alarm sound, use the switch located on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
The alarm volume is adjustable using the MIN/MAX dial on the front-right side of the clock.

2. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large button located on the top of the clock to activate the snooze function.
The alarm will temporarily pause and sound again after a short interval.

3. Light Feature

To illuminate the clock face in low light conditions, press the large button on the top of the clock.
The light will remain on as long as the button is pressed.

4. Silent Operation

The Seiko QHP012MLH features a quiet sweep second hand, designed to eliminate distracting ticking sounds for a peaceful environment. This allows for undisturbed sleep or concentration.

Maintenance

Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
