Operating Instructions

Converting from Chest to Bed

Clear the Area: Ensure there is sufficient clear space in front of the chest for the bed to extend fully.
Unlock Latches: Locate and release the safety latches on both sides of the top panel of the chest.
Open Top Panel: Gently lift the top panel of the chest. It will hinge upwards.
Pull Out Bed Frame: Grasp the handle on the front panel of the chest and pull it outwards. The bed frame will unfold and extend.
Lower Legs: As the bed frame extends, the support legs will automatically deploy. Ensure they are fully extended and locked into position.
Unfold Mattress: The included 6-inch memory foam mattress is tri-fold. Carefully unfold the mattress sections onto the bed frame.

Converting from Bed to Chest

Fold Mattress: Carefully fold the 6-inch memory foam mattress into its tri-fold configuration.
Lift Bed Frame: Grasp the front panel of the bed frame and lift it upwards. The support legs will retract automatically.
Push In Bed Frame: Guide the bed frame back into the chest cavity until it is fully recessed.
Close Top Panel: Lower the top panel of the chest until it sits flush.
Secure Latches: Engage the safety latches on both sides of the top panel to secure the chest in its closed position.

Using the USB Charging Station

The Murphy Bed Chest includes a built-in power source with a 9-foot cord and two USB ports. To use:
