3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2 (the outermost position).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or date changes at midnight.
  3. Push the crown back into position 0 (normal position) to start the watch.

3.2 Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (the first click).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the model) to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the date mechanism is engaged and could be damaged.
  3. Once the date is set, push the crown back into position 0.

3.3 Strap Adjustment

The genuine leather strap is designed for comfort. Adjust the buckle to find a snug yet comfortable fit on your wrist. Avoid overtightening, which can restrict circulation, or leaving it too loose, which can cause the watch to move excessively.

4. Operating the Chronograph (Stopwatch)

Your SKMEI 9347 watch features a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time.

  1. Start: Press the upper pusher (A) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand and sub-dials will begin to move.
  2. Stop: Press the upper pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be displayed on the sub-dials.
  3. Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press the lower pusher (B) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

Note: Do not operate the pushers while the watch is wet or submerged in water to prevent water ingress.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly. Avoid using chemical cleaners, which can damage the watch's finish or strap material.

5.2 Water Resistance (30M)

Your watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) of water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, splashes, and light rain. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water sports. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the seals.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz battery (SR920SW, as indicated on the case back). When the watch stops or the second hand begins to skip, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.
