3.2. App Installation
Download the UBOX application from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.
3.3. Camera Pairing with App
- Open the UBOX app and tap 'Add Device'.
- Power on the camera. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4G Wi-Fi network. Note: This camera does not support 5G Wi-Fi. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is within 15 meters (approximately 50 feet) of the camera for optimal signal.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens. You will hear a confirmation sound when pairing is successful.
- Name your camera and complete the setup process.
3.4. Mounting the Camera
This camera is designed for outdoor wall mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired surveillance coverage and receives ample direct sunlight for the solar panel.
- Use the provided bracket as a template to mark drilling points on the wall.
- Drill holes and insert the wall plugs.
- Secure the bracket to the wall using the screws.
- Attach the camera to the bracket.
- Adjust the angle of the solar panel to maximize sun exposure throughout the day.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Live View and Dual-Lens Functionality
Access the live feed through the UBOX app. The camera features a dual-lens system, allowing for two distinct views simultaneously within the app. Lens 1 (2.8mm) provides a wide-angle view, while Lens 2 (5.9+94.4mm) is the zoom lens.
4.2. 36X Optical Zoom
Utilize the 36X optical zoom feature via the UBOX app to magnify distant objects without loss of clarity. This allows for detailed observation of specific areas within the camera's field of view.

4.3. Pan and Tilt Control
The PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) zoom lens can be controlled remotely via the UBOX app. You can rotate the camera 355° horizontally (pan) and 90° vertically (tilt) to adjust the viewing angle as needed.

4.4. PIR Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera is equipped with PIR (Passive Infrared) detection sensors. When human movement is detected within a maximum range of 12 meters, the camera will:
- Immediately push an alarm notification to your smartphone via the UBOX app.
- Initiate video recording of the event.
- Activate the red-blue alarm lamp and spotlight for deterrence (if enabled in settings).
Note: This camera does not support automatic tracking of moving objects. It also does not support continuous recording; it only records short video clips when motion is detected.
4.5. Night Vision
The camera offers advanced night vision capabilities:
- Infrared Night Vision: Utilizes 10 infrared lights for clear black-and-white video in low-light conditions, with an effective range of up to 50 meters.
- Color Night Vision: When the white lights are activated (either manually or upon motion detection), the camera can capture full-color video at night.
