1. Introduction

2. Included Components

3. Setup Instructions

1. Clean All Components:

   Before first use, thoroughly wash all parts of the fountain (stainless steel basin, top tray, pump, and flower spout) with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. The stainless steel parts are dishwasher safe for convenience.

2. Install the Pump:

   Place the DC pump securely at the bottom of the stainless steel basin. Ensure the power cord is routed through the designated groove to prevent pinching.

3. Insert Filters:

   Place one 5-stage filter into the filter tray. Ensure the filter is properly seated. Install one pre-filter sponge onto the pump's intake to prevent hair and debris from entering the pump.

4. Fill with Water:

   Fill the stainless steel basin with water up to the 'MAX' line indicated on the side. It is recommended to use softened or filtered water for optimal performance and your pet's health. The fountain has a large 95oz (2.8L) capacity, reducing the frequency of refills.

5. Assemble the Top Tray and Spout:

   Place the top tray onto the basin, ensuring it aligns correctly. Then, place the flower spout onto the pump's outlet. You can choose between two flow modes: the 'flower waterfall' for picky pets or the 'gentle fountain' by removing the flower spout.

6. Position and Plug In:

   Place the silicone mat on the floor in your desired location. Position the assembled fountain on the mat. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The LED light will illuminate, indicating the water level and fountain location.

4. Operating Instructions

• Continuous Water Flow:

  The Veken Pet Water Fountain provides a steady, non-stop flow of water, which helps to keep the water fresh and cool. This continuous circulation increases oxygenation, promoting pure hydration for your pets.

• LED Light Feature:

• Quiet Operation:

  The fountain is designed with an ultra-quiet pump, operating at less than 30dB, ensuring a peaceful environment for both you and your pets.

5. Maintenance

• Filter Replacement:

  For optimal performance and your pet’s health, we recommend replacing the 5-stage filter every 3 weeks. The pre-filter sponges should also be cleaned regularly and replaced as needed.

• Cleaning the Fountain:

  Clean the entire fountain at least once a week. The stainless steel components are easy to clean and BPA-free. They can be hand-washed or placed in the dishwasher. Regularly clean the pump to prevent mineral buildup and ensure smooth operation. If mineral buildup occurs on stainless steel parts, soak them in a vinegar solution to clean.

• Water Quality:

  Always use softened or filtered water to extend the life of the pump and filters, and to provide the best quality water for your pets.
