1. Introduction

Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
- Clean Removable Parts: Wash the removable water reservoir, K-Pod holder, and permanent ground filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill Water Reservoir: Fill the 40oz removable water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Place it securely back into the coffee maker.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Before first use, perform a rinse cycle to clean the internal components. Place an empty mug on the drip tray. Ensure no K-cup or grounds are in the brew chamber. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to power on. Select the largest brew size (24 oz) and press 'HOT BREW'. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process once more.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. General Operation
- Ensure the coffee maker is plugged into a 120V outlet.
- Press the 'ON/OFF' button to power on the machine. The indicator lights will illuminate.
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh, cold water.
6.2. Brewing with K-Cup Pods
- Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
- Insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Pod holder. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
- Place your mug on the drip tray. If using a travel mug, remove the drip tray to accommodate taller mugs (up to 7.3 inches).
- Select your desired brew size (6, 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24 oz) by pressing the 'OZ' button repeatedly.
- Choose your brew style:
- For Hot Brew: Press the 'HOT BREW' button.
- For Bold Brew: Press the 'BOLD' button.
- For Over Ice Brew: Fill your mug with ice before placing it on the drip tray, then press the 'OVER ICE' button. The machine will adjust brewing temperature to minimize ice melting.
- The machine will begin brewing. Once complete, the lights will stop blinking.
- Carefully remove your mug.
6.3. Brewing with Ground Coffee
- Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
- Remove the K-Pod holder and insert the permanent ground filter.
- Add your desired amount of ground coffee (up to 30g/1.1oz for bolder coffee) into the reusable filter. Close the hinged lid of the filter.
- Place the filled permanent ground filter into the brew chamber. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
- Follow steps 3-6 from "6.2. Brewing with K-Cup Pods" to select brew size and style, and to start brewing.

7. Maintenance & Cleaning
7.1. Daily Cleaning
- Unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
- Remove the water reservoir, K-Pod holder, permanent ground filter, and drip tray. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
7.2. Descaling
The built-in descaling function helps eliminate calcium deposits and scale buildup. The 'DESCALE' light will illuminate in RED when descaling is needed.
- Fill the water reservoir with descaling solution (or a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water).
- Place a large empty mug (at least 24 oz capacity) on the drip tray.
- Ensure no K-cup or grounds are in the brew chamber.
- Press and hold the 'OVER ICE' button for 3 seconds to start the cleaning cycle. The machine will run the solution through the system.
- Once the cycle is complete, discard the solution.
- Rinse the reservoir and fill it with fresh water. Run 2-3 full water cycles (24 oz each) to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
- The 'DESCALE' light should turn off. If it remains on, repeat the descaling process.

8. Troubleshooting
