Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present: coffee maker unit, removable 40oz water reservoir, K-cup pod holder, and reusable filter basket for ground coffee.

2. First Use & Initial Cleaning

1. Wash the removable water reservoir, K-cup pod holder, and reusable filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the 'MAX' line.
3. Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
4. Run two full brew cycles (24 oz each) with only water to flush the system. Do not add coffee during this initial cleaning.

3. Water Reservoir Installation

Ensure the water reservoir is securely placed on the side of the coffee maker. It should click into place. Fill with fresh, cold water before each use, ensuring it does not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
