5. Setup

5.1 Initial Battery Preparation

The ThruNite TN12 V6 comes with a pre-installed rechargeable battery. Before first use, ensure the tail cap is fully tightened to activate the battery and the flashlight.

5.2 Charging the Flashlight

To charge the flashlight, connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the flashlight's charging port and the USB-B end to a compatible power source. The charging indicator will glow red while charging and turn blue when fully charged.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

• Tail Switch: Fully press the tail switch for constant on/off. Half-press for momentary on.

6.2 Changing Modes

• When the light is on, single press the side switch to cycle through modes: Firefly → Low → Medium → High → Turbo.
• Strobe Mode: Long press the side switch to activate Strobe. Single press the side switch again to exit Strobe mode.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the flashlight's body and threads with a clean, soft cloth.
• Lubrication: Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings periodically to maintain their waterproof seal. Spare O-rings are included in the package.
• Battery Care: Store the flashlight with a partially charged battery if not in use for extended periods. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
• Charging Port: Keep the USB-C charging port clean and covered with the rubber flap when not in use to prevent dust and moisture ingress. A spare rubber cover is provided.
