3. Setup
3.1 Connectivity Modes
The F99 PRO keyboard supports three connectivity modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired (Type-C USB). You can switch between modes using the selector switch located on the keyboard.
- Bluetooth Mode: Ideal for connecting to multiple devices (up to five) such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Provides a stable and low-latency connection for gaming, using the included USB dongle.
- Wired Mode: Connect directly via the USB-C cable for the most reliable connection and simultaneous charging.

3.2 Charging the Keyboard
The keyboard is equipped with an 8000mAh battery for extended use. To charge, connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source. The keyboard can be used while charging in wired mode.

3.3 Adjusting Keyboard Feet
The keyboard features adjustable feet on the underside to customize the typing angle for ergonomic comfort. Gently flip out the feet to your preferred height.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Key Functions and Layout
The F99 PRO features a 96% compact layout with 99 keys, including a dedicated volume control knob. The layout is designed to maximize space while retaining essential keys.

4.2 RGB Backlighting Control
The keyboard features customizable RGB backlighting. Use the following key combinations to adjust lighting effects:
- FN + \|: Change backlight effect.
- FN + TAB: Change light bar effect.
- FN + ↑/↓: Adjust brightness.
- FN + ←/→: Adjust lighting speed/direction.
- FN + R_SHIFT: Change backlight color.
- FN + R_ALT: Change light bar color.

4.3 Hot-Swappable Switches
The F99 PRO keyboard features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to easily replace 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of your typing experience with preferred switch types.

4.4 AULA Driver Customization
For advanced customization of key settings, macros, and lighting effects, download and install the AULA Driver software. This software allows you to tailor the keyboard to your specific gaming style and preferences.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and use compressed air to clear debris from beneath the switches.
5.2 Switch and Keycap Replacement
Thanks to the hot-swappable design, switches and keycaps can be replaced easily. Use the keycap puller to remove keycaps and the switch puller (often integrated with the keycap puller) to remove switches. Align new switches carefully with the PCB pins before pressing them into place. Ensure keycaps are pressed firmly onto the switch stems.
6. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged and the correct connectivity mode (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or Wired) is selected. For wireless modes, check dongle connection or Bluetooth pairing.
- Backlighting not working: Check brightness settings (FN + ↑) and ensure the keyboard is not in a mode that disables lighting.
- Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, try replacing the switch for that key using the hot-swappable feature. Ensure switches are fully seated.
- Connectivity issues: For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is plugged directly into a USB port on your computer. For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode and visible to your device. Try re-pairing if issues persist.
