  8. Power Connection: Plug the motor's power cord into a standard 110V AC outlet.
  9. Initial Power-On and Motor Direction: Turn on the motor. If the sewing machine handwheel rotates in the wrong direction, you will need to reverse the motor's rotation. Refer to the control unit's display and buttons (P, S, +, -) for specific instructions on reversing motor direction. This typically involves entering a programming mode and changing a parameter. Consult the quick start guide included with your motor for detailed steps on parameter adjustment.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Ensure the motor is properly installed and connected. Flip the main power switch on the control unit to the 'ON' position. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Speed Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control unit to adjust the maximum operating speed (RPM). The display will show the current speed setting.
  3. Foot Pedal Operation: The foot pedal controls the motor's speed and start/stop function. Pressing the pedal lightly will start the motor at a low speed. Increasing pressure will gradually increase the speed up to the set maximum. Releasing the pedal will stop the motor.
  4. Parameter Settings: The 'P' button typically accesses programming mode for advanced settings such as motor direction, acceleration/deceleration rates, and needle positioning (if supported). Refer to the detailed programming guide for specific parameter adjustments.
  5. Saving Settings: After adjusting parameters, press the 'S' button to save the changes.
