Key Features:
- Battery Powered: Operates on 3*D batteries, allowing installation anywhere without main power or direct sunlight.
- High Sensitive Motion Sensor: Detects motion at a 160° sensing angle up to 50 feet (15 meters) away.
- Super Bright Illumination: Provides up to 1500 lumens of light for 20 seconds when motion is detected at night.
- Adjustable Light Panels: Three adjustable light panels offer wider and customizable light coverage.
- IP65 Waterproof: Designed to withstand various weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and freezing temperatures.
- Energy Efficient: Automatically stops working in daylight to conserve battery life.
2. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your AIXPI JY2318 motion sensor light.
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main unit.
- Using the provided small screwdriver, unscrew the six screws securing the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3*1.5V D-type alkaline batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Securely reattach the battery compartment cover with the six screws. The compartment features a good seal to prevent water ingress.

3. Operating Instructions
The AIXPI JY2318 light is designed for automatic operation based on motion detection and ambient light conditions.
3.1 Automatic Operation
- Daytime: The light will not activate during the day, even if motion is detected, to conserve battery power.
- Nighttime: When ambient light intensity is low (at night or in a dark environment), the motion sensor becomes active.
- Motion Detection: Upon detecting motion within its 160° sensing angle and 0-50 ft range, the light will automatically turn on.
- Light Duration: The light will remain on for approximately 20 seconds after motion is detected. If motion continues, the light will stay on or reactivate.

3.2 Adjusting Light Panels and Sensor
- The three LED light panels can be manually adjusted to direct illumination where needed. This allows for wider coverage or focused lighting.
- The motion sensor itself is rotatable, allowing you to fine-tune its detection area to suit your specific requirements.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
To ensure optimal performance and long battery life, use 3*1.5V D-type alkaline batteries. Replace batteries when the light's brightness diminishes or it stops activating. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.1.
4.2 Cleaning
Periodically wipe the light's surface and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the unit.
5. Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace with fresh D-type alkaline batteries if necessary.
- Check ambient light conditions. The light is designed to only activate in low-light environments.
- Light turns on too frequently or is too sensitive:
- Adjust the angle of the motion sensor to reduce its detection range or sensitivity to unwanted movements (e.g., small animals, passing traffic).
- Light does not provide sufficient coverage:
- Adjust the individual light panels to direct illumination to the desired areas.
