7. Troubleshooting
Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low water flow from shower heads. | Mineral buildup in nozzles; partially closed shut-off valves; low water pressure in household. | Clean shower head nozzles by gently rubbing them. Ensure shut-off valves are fully open. Consult a plumber if household water pressure is consistently low. |
| Water temperature fluctuates. | Pressure balance valve issue; hot/cold water supply imbalance. | Ensure hot and cold water supplies are stable. If problem persists, contact a qualified plumber to inspect the pressure balance valve. |
| Leaks at connections. | Loose connections; insufficient pipe sealant tape. | Turn off water supply. Tighten connections. If necessary, disassemble, reapply pipe sealant tape, and reassemble. |
| Diverter buttons not working correctly. | Debris in diverter mechanism; worn cartridge. | Flush the system. If the issue persists, the diverter cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a professional. |
