4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup before operating the sprayer.

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
  2. Assemble the Unit: Attach the high-pressure hose to the sprayer unit and the spray gun. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
  3. Install Nozzle: Insert the desired nozzle into the spray gun.
  4. Position the Sprayer: Place the sprayer on a stable, level surface near your paint container. The integrated wheels allow for easy mobility.

The sprayer features a self-priming function, eliminating the need for an additional suction tube. Simply place the intake hose into your paint container.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your VEVOR Airless Paint Sprayer for optimal results.

  1. Prepare Paint: Ensure your paint is properly mixed and free of debris. For best results, follow the paint manufacturer's thinning recommendations for airless sprayers.
  2. Power On: Connect the sprayer to a suitable power outlet.
  3. Prime the Pump: Follow the priming procedure outlined in the quick start guide (usually involves setting a valve to prime/circulate and allowing paint to flow through the system until air is purged).
  4. Adjust Pressure: Use the infinitely variable knob to adjust the spray pressure. The integrated pressure gauge displays real-time pressure.

  • Low Gear: For fine painting.
  • Medium Gear: For general painting.
  • High Gear: For fast painting and large areas.
  1. Begin Spraying: Hold the spray gun at a consistent distance from the surface. Move the gun in smooth, even strokes.
  2. Using the Extension Rod: For high or hard-to-reach areas, attach the extension rod to the spray gun. This allows for comfortable and safe spraying without ladders.

The powerful 900W motor delivers up to 1800 psi pressure and a maximum flow rate of 1.8 L/min, ensuring continuous and uniform paint application, significantly faster than traditional methods.

6. Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your airless paint sprayer.

  1. Immediate Cleaning: After each use, especially with water-based paints, clean the sprayer immediately. Do not allow paint to dry inside the system.
  2. Flush System: Flush the system with appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex, mineral spirits for oil-based paints) until the liquid runs clear.
  3. Clean Nozzle and Gun: Use the provided cleaning needle and brush to thoroughly clean the spray gun and nozzle. Pay attention to hard-to-reach areas.
