Instruction Manual

1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the LONPOO LP-609 Micro Stereo Shelf System. This system is designed to provide high-quality audio with versatile playback options, including CD, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB, and AUX-in. Please read this manual carefully before operating the unit to ensure proper use and to maximize its performance.

2. What's in the Box

Please check the contents of your package to ensure all items are present:

  • Stereo System LP-609 Pair (Main Unit and 2 Speakers)
  • FM Antenna
  • US AC Cord
  • Remote Control

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your LONPOO LP-609 Stereo System:

3.1 Speaker Connection

The LP-609 system includes two passive speakers. Connect them to the main unit using the provided speaker wires.

  1. Prepare Speaker Wires: If the speaker wires are not pre-stripped, carefully remove approximately 10mm (0.4 inches) of insulation from the ends of each wire.
  2. Connect to Speakers: Unscrew the binding posts on the back of each speaker. Insert the bare wire ends into the corresponding terminals (red for positive, black for negative). Tighten the posts to secure the wires.
  3. Connect to Main Unit: On the back of the main unit, locate the speaker terminals. Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the corresponding terminals (red to red, black to black). Ensure a secure connection.

3.2 FM Antenna Connection

Connect the included FM antenna to the FM antenna jack on the rear of the main unit. Extend the antenna for optimal reception.

3.3 Power Connection

Plug the US AC cord into the power input on the back of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet (AC 110V~240V).

4. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the main unit's controls and remote functions for optimal operation.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the main unit or remote control to turn the system on or off.

4.2 Mode Selection

Press the Mode button on the main unit or remote to cycle through available input sources: CD, Bluetooth, FM, USB, and AUX.

4.3 CD Playback

  1. Select CD mode.
  2. Press the Open/Close button to open the disc tray.
  3. Place a CD (CD-R/RW compatible) gently onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press Open/Close again to close the tray. The system will begin playing automatically.
  5. Use Play/Pause, Next/CH+, and Previous/CH- buttons for playback control.

4.4 Bluetooth Connection

  1. Select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT" and the system will enter pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "LONPOO LP-609" from the list. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the stereo system.

4.5 FM Radio Operation

  1. Select FM mode.
  2. Press the Play/Pause/Scan button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Next/CH+ and Previous/CH- buttons to navigate through saved stations.

4.6 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB Port on the front panel.
  2. Select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and play compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
  3. Use Play/Pause, Next/CH+, and Previous/CH- buttons for playback control.

4.7 AUX-in Connection

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX-in port on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Select AUX mode.
  3. Control playback from your connected external device.

4.8 Headphone Jack

For private listening, plug 3.5mm headphones into the Headphone Jack on the front panel. Audio will automatically mute from the speakers.

4.9 Volume Control

Rotate the Volume Knob on the main unit or use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the remote control to adjust the audio level.

5. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your stereo system.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the main unit and speakers. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Disc Tray: Keep the disc tray clean and free of dust. Avoid touching the lens inside the CD player.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the system has adequate ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Placement: Place the system on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
