5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the welder and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

5.2 Power Connection

The ANDELI MIG-270PLUS is a dual-voltage machine (110V/220V). Ensure the correct power cable is used and connected to a suitable power outlet with appropriate circuit protection. Verify the voltage setting on the machine matches your power supply.

5.3 Connecting Welding Accessories

Connect the ground clamp, electrode holder, or MIG/TIG torch according to the specific welding process you intend to use. Ensure all connections are secure.

6. Operating Modes

The ANDELI MIG-270PLUS supports multiple welding processes. Select the desired mode using the control panel.

6.1 MIG Welding (Gas/Gasless)

For MIG welding, install the appropriate welding wire (solid wire for Gas MIG, flux-cored wire for Gasless MIG). Connect the MIG torch and, if using Gas MIG, connect the gas cylinder and regulator. Adjust the wire feed speed and voltage using the synergistic controls for optimal results. The intuitive design allows for easy adjustment based on your application.

6.2 Lift TIG Welding

For Lift TIG welding, connect a Lift TIG torch (purchased separately) and a gas cylinder with argon gas. Ensure the tungsten electrode is properly prepared. This mode is suitable for precise welding of various metals, including aluminum (with appropriate setup).

6.3 Stick Welding (MMA)

For Stick welding, connect the electrode holder and ground clamp. Insert the appropriate electrode for your material. Adjust the current setting on the machine. The true 200 AMP output current provides strong welding performance.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welder.

  • Cleaning: Keep the machine clean and free from dust and debris. Use compressed air to clean the internal components periodically.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all welding cables, torches, and clamps for wear, damage, or loose connections. Replace damaged components immediately.
  • Wire Feed System: Clean the wire feed rollers and liner to ensure smooth wire feeding.
  • Storage: Store the welder in a dry, clean environment when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your welder, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power: Check the power connection, circuit breaker, and ensure the machine is switched on.
  • Poor Arc Start/Stability: Verify proper grounding, check electrode/wire condition, and ensure correct current/voltage settings for the material and process.
  • Overheating: The welder has automatic safety features. If it overheats, it will shut down. Allow it to cool down before resuming operation. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  • Wire Feeding Issues: Check for tangled wire, correct wire size for the rollers, and a clean wire liner.

For persistent issues, contact customer support.
