Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Blink Outdoor 4 camera system.

1. Download the Blink Home Monitor App

1. Download the Blink Home Monitor app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Create a new account or log in to your existing Blink account.
3. Ensure your smartphone meets the minimum requirements: iOS 15.0, Android 9.0, or Fire 9.0.

2. Set Up the Sync Module Core (if applicable)

The Sync Module Core acts as a hub for your Blink cameras.

1. Plug the Sync Module Core into a power outlet using the provided USB cable and power adapter.
2. Open the Blink app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the Sync Module to your system.
3. Connect the Sync Module to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11b/g/n). A high-speed internet connection (broadband, fiber, or DSL) is required.

3. Install the Blink Outdoor 4 Camera

1. Insert the two AA 1.5V metallic lithium batteries into the camera.
2. In the Blink app, add the Outdoor 4 camera to your system and link it to your Sync Module.
3. Choose a suitable location for your camera. It can be mounted indoors or outdoors.
4. Use the included mounting kit to secure the camera. Ensure the camera has a clear field of view (143° diagonal).

Operating Your Camera

Battery Replacement
